What it does

A real renovation has more moving parts than a spreadsheet can hold.

RenoBudget keeps the budget, the paperwork and the progress in sync, so the number you see is the number that's true.

An honest budget, not a wish list

Every payment, deposit and refund rolls into one calculation. RenoBudget separates what you've paid from what you've committed to, so “remaining” means remaining.

  • Paid vs. committed vs. estimated, per room and category
  • Deposits linked to a quote are never double‑counted
  • Over‑budget warnings before the money is gone

Compare quotes like a professional

Collect bids from every contractor, line them up side by side, and accept the one that wins. Accepted quotes flow straight into your committed spend.

  • Grouped comparison by scope of work
  • Contractor directory with contacts and history
  • Change orders tracked against the original bid

  • Photos gallery with grid, timeline and before/after slider
  • Documents and warranties with expiry reminders
  • One‑tap PDF report for records, resale or an appraiser

Questions

Good to know

Do I need an account?

No. RenoBudget never asks you to sign up. You open the app and start planning. There's no server to log in to because there's no server at all.

Where is my data stored?

On your device, in the app's private storage. If you have iCloud device backup enabled, your data is included in that encrypted backup — but it's never sent to us or to any third party.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad running iOS/iPadOS 16 or later. On iPad the app uses a two‑column layout with a sidebar.

Can I use it with my contractor?

RenoBudget is built for the homeowner's side of the project — your budget, your quotes, your records. You can export a PDF report to share, but there's no shared editing.

What happens when my subscription ends?

Your data stays. Pro modules become read‑only until you renew or switch to Lifetime; the core budget and rooms remain fully usable.

How do I get help?

Head to the Support page — most questions are answered there, and there's an email address for anything that isn't.
